EXTENDING THE NARRATIVE TRADITION

Study Options with Johnella Bird in 2012

I have developed this programme to suit people who live outside Auckland and New Zealand. Over the years, I have really enjoyed working with the therapeutic manuscripts and recordings of conversations that people have provided. This experience has convinced me that this kind of personalised study is the most effective way to advance people’s therapeutic skills.

In 2012, I will be offering a year long programme where participants routinely provide me with either transcripts or direct recordings (audio and dvd material) of their clinical conversations. After reviewing this material, I will discuss and demonstrate the practical application of relevant theoretical ideas, and may also suggest reading material. I will do this using either Skype technology or audio-recordings.

This process will interest you if you have attended the workshops that I’ve facilitated and you now want to translate and advance these ideas into the therapeutic work you do.

There are four study options available:

Option 1: Extending The Narrative Tradition
Option 2: Re-searching What Works
